Stewart Strawbridge is a real estate development and investment executive with extensive experience in capital allocation, portfolio strategy, and long-term value creation. Since 2017, he has served as managing member of Exchange Street Partners in Portland, Maine, where he acquires, manages, and develops commercial and residential properties throughout the Portland area. His work includes overseeing development projects such as the Casco multifamily community. Since 2000, he has also served as managing member of a private family office in Portland, where he directs capital allocation and long-term investment strategy across a diversified portfolio.
Previously, Mr. Strawbridge co-founded Selkirk Partners in 2008, an equity investment firm focused on generating long-term returns through strategic investments in domestic and international markets. As managing member, he worked alongside his partners to evaluate investment opportunities, manage portfolios, oversee risk management, and shape the firm's long-term investment philosophy.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Stewart Strawbridge remains actively involved in community, cultural, and philanthropic initiatives. He has supported organizations focused on medical research and environmental conservation, including the CURE Hydrocephalus Program, and has served on the boards of the Portland Museum of Art, Lyotropics, Inc., and the Natural Resources Council of Maine.
Mr. Strawbridge also has a lifelong passion for equestrian sports. He is part of a multi-generational family tradition associated with the Maryland Hunt Cup, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious steeplechase races. In 2007, he won the Maryland Hunt Cup, continuing a family legacy that spans more than a century.
